FC Barcelona Lassa roll into the semifinals with an 84–68 victory over Montakit Fuenlabrada

Led by Tomáš Satoranský's brilliant all-around performance, the Catalans knock out Fuenlabrada and head into the last four on a high note

Tomáš Satoranský scored 21 points to go with 7 assists — both were game-highs — to lead FC Barcelona Lassa to an 84–68 victory over Montakit Fuenlabrada in Game 2 of the quarterfinals in the Liga ACB playoffs.

The win gives the Catalans a two-game sweep in the best-of-three series and sends them into the semifinals for a record-tying eleventh straight season.

Justin Doellman added to the winning effort by chipping in with 10 points and a game-high 8 rebounds.

Barça opened the game with a 7–0 run that threatened to turn this one into an early blowout.

But Fuenlabrada closed out the first quarter and opened up the second with a storm of three-pointers that got them back into the game and, incredibly, even gave them a brief lead.

Satoranský was key in stemming the onslaught. With Barça up just a basket at 38–36 at the start of the third quarter, the 24-year-old point guard from the Czech Republic proceeded to knock down a big three and dish out 4 assists to go with one steal.

The Catalans blew the game open behind not just Satoranský and Doellman, but also strong efforts from shooting guard Álex Abrines and small forward Stratos Perperoglou. At the start of the fourth quarter Barça held a 22-point lead at 67–45.

Baskets were traded at both ends down the stretch with the blaugrana lead dwindling slightly by the time the final buzzer went off.

FCB will face the winner of the quarterfinal series between Laboral Kutxa and Herbalife Gran Canaria in the semifinals.
