Barça returned to training on Thursday with so news of the loss of Douglas, who, tests have shown, fractured the scaphoid tarsal in his right foot. He is expected to be out for 8 weeks.
Barça's training will go on, however, with the team returning on Thursday morning to begin preparing for Saturday's La Liga visit to Getafe. All first team players available worked out on Tito Vilanova Field at the Ciutat Esportiva.
A recovery session was aimed at those who saw time against Villanovense, while those who did not travel were focused on Getafe. Barça B players Gerard Gumbau and Aitor Cantalapiedra, who made his official debut on Wednesday, also took part in the practice session.
The team will be back at the Ciutat Esportiva to train on Friday at 11.00am.* On Saturday the team will travel to Madrid to face Getafe. Kick off at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez is set for 8.30pm.
