Vitor Roque (Timóteo, 28 February 2005) arrived at Barça in the winter window of the 2023/24 season after his signing was announced in summer 2023.

Athletico Paranaense were his former club, who he joined in April 2022 and for whom he first played in the Brazilian Serie A and the Copa Libertadores. He had already made his debut in the second division, Serie B, with Cruzeiro, aged only 16 years old. Vitor Roque originally came through the youth system at América Mineiro, after joining aged 10 years old.

He was one of the stars at the 2023 South American U-20 Championship. His key role as striker saw him help the Brazil side win the tournament, in which he top-scored with six goals. He also made his full debut for the Brazil national team in March 2023.

Roque is a mobile centre forward who can also play on the wing if needs be.
