[[DES_1]]The draw has been made and FC Barcelona will be facing Premiership club Arsenal in the second round of this season’s Champions League
As reward for finishing top of their first round group, Barça will play the second leg at home. So they’ll be playing the first leg at the Emirates Stadium in London on February 23 and then the Camp Nou will host the return game on March 16.
Arsenal needed to win by two goals at Olympiacos to get out of the group stage for a 16th consecutive season, and ended up getting three. This is, of course, the side that Barça beat in the 2006 final, and the Gunners have been eliminated in the knockout stages by Barça twice since then. A meeting with the Londoners also means a meet-up with former FCB man Alexis Sánchez, while other key members of the squad include the hero in Athens, Olivier Giroud, England international Theo Walcott, former Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Özil and Welshman Aaron Ramsey. The Premiership team's roster also includes right-back Héctor Bellerín, a product of the FC Barcelona youth system who is fast becoming a regular feature in Arsene Wenger’s first team line-ups.
