FC Barcelona 2025/26 rolls on. After Sunday’s medicals and Monday’s first training session, the blaugrana squad have completed their first double session of pre-season as preparations start to ramp up.
Eyes ahead
Hansi Flick worked with the same mix of first-team and B-team players as on Monday, all focused on sharpening their fitness after the summer break and looking ahead to the Asian tour and the Liga opener, scheduled for 16 August away to Mallorca at Son Moix (7.30pm CEST).
There were two absentees. Marc-André ter Stegen trained alone in the gym at the Ciutat Esportiva and reserve players Dani Rodríguez continues his planned rehab from the right-shoulder injury suffered on his first-team debut at Valladolid on 3 May.
The squad will remain in Barcelona until 24 July, when they fly to Japan to kick off the Asian tour. So pre-season is already in full swing for FC Barcelona and the first match grows ever closer.
